Justine Coroza performs at Toronto Tempo home games as a member of the Rhythm Section. The Trinity College graduate traces part of that professional start to a creative writing assignment: asked to describe an event, she found Hart House's Lyricists' Lounge and its Hip-Hop Education program.

Over the next three years, she was invited to perform and lead workshops at the annual Hip-Hop Block Party.
