Alumni Digest
Privacy Notice
Last updated September 19, 2026. This notice explains how the public Alumni Digest preview handles subscription information.
What we collect
When you subscribe, we collect the email address you provide, your selected university edition, the time of consent, and the form source. We also record a verification event and basic delivery state so we can operate the subscription.
Why we use it
We use subscription information to verify your address, deliver the Alumni Digest email edition, prevent abuse, respond to requests, and maintain a reliable subscription ledger. We do not sell subscription records or publish subscriber addresses.
How we protect it
The local preview encrypts email addresses at rest and keeps a separate hash for duplicate detection. The private subscription ledger is access-controlled and is not linked from the public landing page. Verification codes expire after 15 minutes and are removed after successful verification.
Providers and retention
If email delivery is enabled, a domain-matched email provider receives the address and message needed to send the verification email. We retain a subscription while it is active or while we need it to honor a request, prevent abuse, or meet an operational obligation. The public preview does not send email until delivery credentials are configured.
Your choices
You may decline to subscribe, request correction or deletion, or request removal from a delivered issue. Use the reply address shown in the latest Alumni Digest email; a domain-matched privacy mailbox will be published before public launch.
