Members of the U of T community were among 80 people appointed to or promoted within the Order of Canada on December 31, 2025. Retired Supreme Court justices Rosalie Abella and Michael Moldaver were named Companions. Lung transplant surgeon Shaf Keshavjee was promoted to the same rank.
