Virginia Aulin (BA’85) received graduate degrees from the University of Western Ontario and Oxford and has worked as a communications, government affairs, and HR executive for companies in Canada and the US. She has visited almost 50 countries and written travel articles for many publications. She was editor of Room magazine for 10 years. My umbrella flips inside-out in the violent wind just before I reach the biology building, and in the seconds it takes me to force the spokes back down, my hair is soaked.
