Callum Yuile had two goals and three assists as the Mustangs men’s soccer team beat Windsor 5-2 on Friday night, scoring all five goals in the first half. Panos Tzanetakis, Gavin Goddard and Ennis Bernaus also scored, and Matthew Rogers had two assists.

Western outshot Windsor 14 to 6 and put eight shots on goal to Windsor’s four. Head coach Martin Painter liked the attacking spells but was not happy about conceding twice, and called the game an “important result.” He said it is the details and work rate that stand out about Yuile, more than the goals.

The Mustangs led 5-1 at halftime after Issam Hassoun pulled one back for Windsor in the 40th minute. They held on after Ciaran O’Connor scored for Windsor in the 71st minute, to finish 5-2.
