A building that lets the weather in

Waterloo Architecture’s Cambridge building turns the river, light and material into part of the studio.

The official building gallery moves from the river edge to the red and grey walls, stairs, studios and library. It reads like a campus portrait made from thresholds.

Architecture becomes alumni memory here because the building is doing work: it gives students a place to test scale, structure and the way a room changes a question.
