Things Fall Apart, the fourth edition of the Toronto Biennial of Art, is on from September 26 to December 20, 2026. It is curated by Allison Glenn and traces links between the Great Lakes and over sixteen global waterways on five continents.

The Art Museum at the University of Toronto is the main exhibition site partner and presents works by over 20 artists across the University of Toronto Art Centre in University College and the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery in Hart House. Named artists include Rebecca Belmore, Kent Monkman, Bonnie Devine, Julien Creuzet and Dala Nasser.

The Biennial is organized in three parts: a central exhibition, performances and artist-led programming, and a collaboratively curated gathering.

One hundred and thirteen stories end this issue, but the university doesn't pause between them. A new orientation week is already being planned; a lab somewhere on campus is already running the next experiment. Alumni Digest will be there in October for the next one.
