A creative-writing assignment in first year sent Justine Coroza looking for an event to write about. She found Hart House's Lyricists' Lounge, part of the Hip-Hop Education program where students learn about rap and talk with producers and rappers.
She had already found her dance passion through a club called Flux, and that fall she was accepted into a Hart House work-study position. Over three years she was invited back to perform and lead a workshop at the annual Hip-Hop Block Party.

I can't wait to tell Marco!Justine Coroza
The 'Marco' in question is Marco Adamović, the Dialogue and Expression program coordinator who mentored her at Hart House alongside manager Zoe Dille and program associate Francesca D'Amico-Cuthbert.
Coroza graduated from Trinity College in June 2026. She now dances with the Rhythm Section, the Toronto Tempo's performance crew, at every home game of Canada's first WNBA team, whose inaugural season began in May.
