Come back to the Square: Alumni and Families Weekend

From Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25, NYU’s schools welcome graduates back. Stern’s Reunion on the 23rd and 24th ends with milestone classes at the Waldorf Astoria.

NYU Alumni and Families Weekend runs Thursday, October 22 through Sunday, October 25, 2026. The most detailed public schedule we could verify is the one NYU Stern publishes for its own Reunion, which falls inside it. Every Stern alumnus or alumna is invited on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24.

Friday evening brings thought-leadership talks from faculty and a reception built for catching up with classmates; Stern describes it as a “Beer Blast”-style evening. On Saturday afternoon the Dean hosts a luncheon with updates from the school’s leadership. A special invitation goes to the Class of 2025 and to every class year ending in ’1 and ’6, from the Class of 1941 to the Class of 2021, for a milestone celebration on Saturday evening at the historic Waldorf Astoria New York.

Allison Kuhn (MBA ’23) chairs Reunion programmes, and class representatives handle outreach and giving. Registration is open. NYU also offers hotel discounts for returning alumni, and the page asks every Reunion class to consider a gift in honour of its year.

On the weekend’s first evening, October 22, the College of Arts and Science holds “Welcome Home, CAS” at its new permanent address, 25 West 4th Street. We could not open NYU’s university-wide weekend page directly, so dates for schools other than Stern should be confirmed with them.
